Ingredients:
- 12-16 chicken wings
- 2 Tbsp. raw maple syrup
- 3 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp. balsamic vinegar
- 1 cup pineapple juice
- 1 tbsp. red pepper flakes
- 1 tsp garlic salt
Asian Style chicken Wings cooking method
The trick to keeping your wings moist without frying them is to steam them prior to cooking them in the oven. Preheat your oven to 400 degrees F.
Place a steamer basket in a saucepan and heat some water. Place the wings in it, and cook for about 10 minutes or so. You might have to do it in two batches if you have too many. Once done, let them dry for about 15 minutes.
On a baking sheet, place all the wings and bake for about 20 minutes.
Meanwhile, prepare the sauce by mixing in a small pot the Ingredients: maple syrup, pineapple, and balsamic vinegar, spices, and Worcestershire sauce. Bring it to boil and then let it simmer on low.
When the wings come out of the oven, use the sauce to glaze them and serve them hot, with plenty of napkins for the sticky fingers !!
